Rice Crispy Turkey Pops

My dad was in town last weekend, and I was in need of an activity for us to do with the kids. Nell had seen these adorable turkeys in a magazine or something and begged me to do them, and I thought it would make for a hilarious if somewhat messy family activity, so I got all the ingredients to make them.

They didn’t look terribly difficult to make on the website.

Here is the photo from the Kellog’s site. Aren’t these so cute?

They turned out to be a little harder to make than advertised, especially for the 3 and five year-olds.

See?

Honestly, I was just impressed that they were even a little bit spherical, given what we were working with. Fortunately, they tasted fine. I guess. No way in hell I was touching one.
