Daikon and Cabbage Slaw

This was going to be Daikon and Cabbage and Carrot slaw, but then I got kinda lazy. Yeah…

This is as much technique as recipe – you could throw this vinaigrette on just about anything and make a yummy little salad. With cabbage, it’s best to let it sit for a day to get nice and soft.

  • 1/2 cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 daikon, shredded
  • 1/3 C rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic chili paste (or srircha)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 Tbs toasted sesame oil

Thank you so much for this recipe – anything that uses up both cabbage and daikon from the CSA basket is a gift!! And it really is delicious!

  2. So glad that you liked it! It’s hard to go too far wrong with chili sauce and toasted sesame oil, right?
